Text Vectorization & Parsing
When you upload a PDF resume, our cloud pipeline securely extracts the text layer. We strip out images, decorations, and unreadable characters, leaving a clean structured dataset. If the document isn't text-selectable (like a scanned image), parsing fails - which protects you from automated ATS rejections.
ATS Score Calculation Engine
Our proprietary parser weights candidate profiles on three primary pillars:
- Skills Matching (40% weight): Evaluates keyword overlap and groups related skills together (e.g. recognizing "React" covers basic frontend frameworks).
- Experience Alignment (30% weight): Maps project timelines and lists to verify they match the responsibilities detailed in the job description.
- Seniority Density (30% weight): Determines if titles, years of active service, and vocabulary levels match the target career level.
PDF Compiler Rules
Once the wording is decided, Indom renders your tailored resume directly as a PDF. Because the layout is generated programmatically, fonts are embedded correctly and text stays clean and selectable - exactly how ATS systems like Workday or Greenhouse index documents.
